Victoria Day or May Two-Four weekend is just a few days away. There is certainly a lot going on to keep you and your family entertained – that is, if you’re not heading to the cottage. Below we have highlighted just some of the fun events that are taking place in Ontario:
Fireworks at Ashbridges Bay Park, Toronto.
Celebrate Victoria Day with a magical display of over 2,000 fireworks that will impress both young and old. The show is FREE so bring the whole family and of course some friends.
Victoria Day Speedfest, Bowmanville.
If you love fast cars and the adrenaline and excitement of it all, then this weekend is not to be missed. The Victoria Day Speedfest will feature the NASCAR Pinty’s Series with the Can-Am 200 and all classes of the Pirelli World Challenge Series. One of the highlights is a firework display, which takes place on Saturday night.
Victoria Day Fireworks at Dundas Driving Park, Hamilton.
From lighting up the night sky with a magical display of fireworks to live music, food trucks and more, Victoria Day in Hamilton is certainly going to be fun. This is a FREE event, so bring your family and enjoy a wonderful day (and night) out.
Nobleton Victoria Day Fair.
This is very much a community-based fair that starts off with a parade, followed by a day filled with music, vendors, fireworks and much more. Admission is FREE, so bring anyone who is looking to have fun.
HarbourKids: Circus Toronto.
Victoria Day weekend is sure to be colourful, magical and filled with lots of fun and laughter – that is, if you bring your kids to the circus! At the Harbourfront Centre, there will be clowns, jugglers, acrobats and comedians. You can even participate if you like! It’s FREE, so make a day of it.
Culinary Ontario Festival, Toronto.
If you love to eat, cook, sample and explore, take yourself on a culinary adventure. This FREE event has a Children’s Cooking Competition, Best of Ontario Talent, Drone Night Show and a whole lot more. From the food to the fun, there’s a taste for everyone.
Victorian Tea Party at Bronte Creek Park, Oakville.
Did someone say cake? Yes, tea and cake will be served along with other wonderful delights. There are also lots of goodies to purchase, so bring your purse and your sweet tooth.
