Taking a Fresh Look at Your Home in Spring.

We made it to spring!

The days are longer, the flowers are blooming and there’s a freshness in the air.

This makes now the perfect time to tackle any damage to your home from that long forgotten Old Man Winter. It’s also a good time to take a quick look at your home insurance policy with an eye towards making sure you’re covered for the coming months.

Ask a Few Important Questions.

Take a minute to ask yourself:

  • Have you inspected your property since all the snow melted? Do you even know what you should be looking for?
  • Are you doing everything you can to protect your home against flooding? If something happened, are you covered for water damage?
  • Have you taken advantage of all the savings and discounts available to you from CAA?

Figuring this out now will help you plan before we head into the lazy days of summer (which will be here before you know it).

Making Sense of It All.

Even if your insurance needs are pretty much the same, consider giving us a call at 1-855-241-1831 just to be sure or pop into your local CAA Store we’d love to see you!

You can also check out our Water Coverage Discovery Tool to help you identify the ways that water can damage your home. You’ll also learn about things that you can do to help avoid costly water damage to your home if, say, your basement was to flood.

We’ve also got a great Water Protection Checklist you can print out that outlines all the things around your home and property you should inspect every spring.

And remember – you don’t have to be a CAA Member to have your insurance with us, but doing so makes you a part of North Canada’s’s largest Roadside Assistance1 network and also lets you access exclusive perks and savings.
